Students will work on environmental problems and cases, on behalf of community and environmental groups, as part of the Environmental Law Clinic. The clinic will be operated in partnership with Ecojustice Canada, the country's largest public interest environmental law organization. The Clinic's goal is to promote a more in depth understanding of environmental law by providing hands on experience to build on students' classroom learning. At least two experienced environmental lawyers will supervise students and direct the clinic. Students, working under supervision, will be directly involved in all aspects of providing environmental law services to community and non profit groups. There will be a lecture component designed to enhance the hands on clinic experience.
